ESRI Virtual Campus

Esri has been a leader in GIS education and web training since 1998. The Esri Virtual Campus offers an extensive catalog of training opportunities covering GIS technology, concepts, and applications. Training opportunities include self-paced web courses as well as training seminars and Instructional Series podcasts that cover focused technology topics. All training seminars and podcasts are available on demand, free of charge.

Virtual Campus web-based training is ideal for motivated students who want or need flexibility in their training experience. Because training can be accessed seven days a week, 24 hours a day, students are able to learn at a time and place that’s convenient for them. All that’s required is a computer with Internet access and a web browser.

The Virtual Campus hosts the GIS Bibliography, a rich resource for those researching GIS and GIScience topics. The GIS Bibliography is an index to more than 83,000 references including conference proceedings, journals, books, and reports that span the origins of GIS to the present day.

The Virtual Campus regularly broadcasts online Live Training Seminars free, one-hour presentations by Esri experts on technical topics.

The course catalog provides the Course Recommendations tool to help students select the right training based on GIS topic, task, and area of interest.

The Virtual Campus provides a personalized area, My Training, where students can access their courses, view their training history and transcripts, and print their Esri course certificates of completion.
